Children of Christ the King

We believe that children are a vital part of our community at CTK and have much to show us about living in the Kingdom of God. Jesus said “let the children come to me.” We extend that same invitation to you. We’re a growing downtown church and we’d love for your family to be a part of our life together.

What to Expect…

Families are invited to worship together in our Sunday services.

During the sermon, we also offer a specially prepared time of teaching and activity for the children led by loving volunteers. This children’s time is geared for ages 2 - 7. If your children participate in this time, you will take them to the classroom just before the sermon begins and pick them up and return to the service in time to participate in Eucharist (Communion). We are prepared and looking forward to growing in our ministry with children as our congregation grows. Come see what God is up to in the life of Christ the King, Toronto!

Using God’s Big Story, children are invited to enter into the narrative of God's abounding faithfulness and love for all of his beloved children. Our aim is that children and their teachers might hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and experience the fullness of new life in Christ as part of His body, the church.

In addition to our specially prepared teaching time for children and their full participation in the life of the church, we also offer occasional special activities that you will find on our church calendar.

At CTK we are pro-active in rhythms of transparency and protection for our children’s ministry and everything we do. If you’d like to know more about our plan to protect, we’d be happy to share more information. You can contact Robyn Kokot, our children’s ministry leader, here.

If you’d like to access the safe-keeping resources from the Anglican Diocese of Canada, you can do that here.
