Common Prayer
O Almighty God, you pour out on all who desire it the spirit of grace and of supplication: Deliver us, when we draw near to you, from coldness of heart and wanderings of mind, that with steadfast thoughts and kindled affections we may worship you in spirit and in truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord. A Praying church
The best opportunity to pray together is when we gather on Sundays. There are other opportunities specifically for prayer:
On most Tuesday afternoons year round, the whole church is invited to a time of prayer on Zoom.
On the last Wednesday of each month, year round, the whole church is invited to a time of healing prayer on Zoom led by the prayer ministry team.
When we gather for other events, like our annual church retreat in the Fall, an annual day of prayer or Stations of the Cross in Lent, we acknowledge that prayer is a central part of what we do together as a church.
